This necklace features a vintage skeleton key hanging from a silk sari ribbon. The ribbon is made by women in India who sew or tie strips of recycled sari fabric into ribbon. It has a raw edge and is frayed giving it an aged effect. It closes with a lobster clasp. The key is about 2 inches long and the ribbon is about 23 inches long. There is a seam where the ribbon was sewn together near the clasp. It is not considered a defect.
There is a touch of fabric glue on the ends of the ribbon to help keep it from fraying there. This is barely visible and may be hidden by your hair.
